About Wayside Stables

 

 

Wayside Stables is a family run Riding School based in the heart of the Berkshire countryside.

 

Come riding with Wayside in the Windsor Great Park, the King's back garden. You are guaranteed to have a nice ride in beautiful surroundings on good quality horses.

We cater for all abilities from novice to the most experienced riders.

Or come to Wayside for your riding lessons, we have horses and ponies to suit everyone, from the complete beginner to advanced level in all disciplines. Our instructors will match you with the best horses or ponies to ensure that you improve and gain confidence whether your aim is to ride well enough to enjoy hacking or to go on and succeed in the competitive equestrian world.

We also offer a loan service designed for people who would love to own their own horse but as yet are not ready to take on either, the time or financial commitment involved. This gives you the opportunity to learn stable management and the general care of the horse and its tack and for you to gain confidence before taking the plunge and making the dream of owning your own horse come true. Another benefit of course is that if you ride regularly, it's much more economical.

Wayside caters very well for the children and adults who attend, as well as lessons and hacking there are pony days, clear round jumping, cross country and the opportunity to compete at local and BSJA affiliated shows.

 

We can also provide pony parties for that special birthday.

Please do not bring your dogs to the stables, as there are dogs on site and they don’t like other dogs visiting
